Stefano Fonzi

Stefano Fonzi is renowned across Europe for his television, film and commercial scores and original compositions. An accomplished musician, Fonzi graduated from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome and studied film scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Since 2001, he’s been collaborating and touring with the great film score composer Ennio Morricone, whose soundtrack for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly will be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2009. (You remember trying to whistle that soundtrack, right? We all did!) What a great mentor Fonzi has had!  So it’s no surprise that Fonzi’s own composition was featured in a worldwide television commercial for UNICEF in 2007 and he’s written the soundtracks for eight Italian TV programs. Fonzi has recorded the CDs Focus, Arena Concerto, Voci dal Silenzio, and Ageli vs. Demoni.

His phenomenal musical talent extends to soundtracks, scores for documentaries and commercials, jingles, original songs and arrangements. A conductor and composer, Fonzi can create the perfect soundtrack for your project  with a live orchestra or compose entirely electronically.

Fonzi has performed with such greats as Carlos Santana, Dionne Warwick, Roger Waters, Quincy Jones, Yo Yo Ma...the list goes on and on. And he has performed in The Royal Albert Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Palais de Congres, Auditorium Paulo IV and, again, the impressive list goes on.
